ZAOGA To Donate Necessities To People Affected by Cyclone Idai

ZAOGA Forward in Faith Ministries to donate necessities to the people in Chimanimani district who are affected by heavy rains with strong winds known as Cyclone Idai which left many people homeless and destroyed some properties like shops, cars and livestock. Many people are living in fear because of Cyclone which is predicted to continue for the next three days.

Currently people are being evacuated to mountainous places without anything to eat or to put on hence ZAOGA is appealing to the generality of Zimbabweans and other well wishers to donate basic necessities such as food stuffs like rice, cooking oil, mealie meal and beans, non food stuffs like bankets and clothes as well as monetary contributions.

In a statement written by the Secretary General of ZAOGA Forward in Faith Ministries stated that "the situation is very desperate hence our intervention and assistance is urgently needed. On behalf of our Servants and Apostles of God Professor E.H Guti and Dr Eunour Guti we are kindly requesting for your assistance in the form of food stuffs, clothes, blankets and money to alleviate the situation".  The relief response is being done under ZAOGA's own Non Governmental Organisation called Ezekiel Guti Development Trust EGUDE.

These donations are going to help every family who has suffered from the heavy rains with strong winds. The church leaders are appealing for help for help from other churches since the donation is going to help everyone hence there is need for them to zero in.

Some prominent members of ZAOGA Forward in Faith Ministries said it is high time Zimbabweans to show our agape love, demonstrate our unity as well as expressing our humanitarianism.

Indeed, it is a sad event which left sad memories to generality of Zimbabweans even others abroad. People have become vagabonds dominating the mountains for safer refuge.
