Ministry of Education Launches Universal Education Program

Yesterday, the ministry of Education launches the Universal education program which will cater for vulnerable children and children living with disabilities. The event took place in Highfield at Zimbabwe Hall in the morning were hundreds of students and parents gathered to support the launch. Many organizations participated in this event and they did exhibitions of their services.

This program was initiated after the rapid growth of students dropouts and children living with disabilities due to lack of financial support hence there are arrangements which are being done by the Ministry in partnership with some organizations such as Chiyedza Care Center in order to take school drop outs and children living disabilities back to school or to equip them with other life skills which will help them in their future lives.

Almost everyone was very happy about the launch because it is going to equip the communities at large. One of the residents of Highfield Mai Matamba said we are happy about this good program which is going to help our children to persue with their education and even those who are disabled are going to benefit more" tine mufaro mukuru kwazvo nekuda kwechirongwa chaunzwa ne ministry nekuti vana vedu vakukwanisa kuenderera mberi nechikoro uye vanorarama nehurema vave kukwanisawo kuwana dzidzo zvakanyanya"

Therefore, everyone now is waiting for the program to kickstart as it seems to be one of the great programs of the Ministry.
